CoastVenture's First Team-Building Adventure on El Hierro

Tenerife, Canary Islands - At CoastVenture, we believe that a strong team spirit is the essential of innovation. Recently, our team of seven professionals from seven different countries, speaking over ten languages, gathered for our first team-building retreat on the charming island of El Hierro. This special trip underscored our collective dream of transforming real estate and travel through digital innovation, starting in the Canary Islands and expanding beyond.

Unforgettable Moments

El Hierro, with its unspoiled beauty, was the perfect backdrop for our teambuilding. We stayed at Punta Grande, the world’s smallest hotel, nestled on a rock in the ocean. This quaint setting provided a unique and cozy atmosphere for our activities.

Exploring Together

Our two-day adventure was packed with memorable experiences. We visited Spain's westernmost point, hiked to El Hierro’s highest peak, and trekked to the original Prime Meridian. These activities not only helped us bond as a team but also allowed us to immerse ourselves in the island's stunning natural beauty and rich history.

Workshop

One of the key activities at our gathering was the planning workshop, where we introduced CoastVenture’s latest digital product. Each team member contributed to the discussion about our future directions, individual roles, and unique skills within the startup. This collaborative effort helped us see the bigger picture and work towards meeting our common goals. The workshop demonstrated our commitment to driving digital transformation in the real estate and travel sectors.

Expert Guidance

The entire event was expertly organised by Johannes Leichtle, a passionate event manager from Germany who shares our love for the Canary Islands. Johannes planned an itinerary filled with the best sights, activities, and dining experiences El Hierro has to offer, ensuring our team-building event was seamless and unforgettable. In the end of our adventure Johannes shared with us his emotion from the trip: “It was a pleasure and also fun for me sharing those days with you. You are great people and an amazing team.”
